Built in 1928, located near the mouth of the Singapore River, and became home to the three of the most important institutions of Singapore; The General Post Office, The Singapore Club, and The Chamber of Commerce. Now, It is a prestigious hotel with 400 rooms.


Construit en 1928, situé près de l’embouchure de la rivière Singapour, il a abrité la poste, le club de Singapour et la chambre du commerce. Maintenant c’est un prestigieux hôtel avec 400 chambres.

Anderson Bridge was completed in 1910. It is a vehicular bridge and was built with the intention to replace the overloaded Cavenagh Bridge. Today it connects the financial district to city hall. Anderson bridge is located near The Fullerton Hotel and the former Merlion Park.

Le pont Anderson de Singapour a été inauguré en 1910. C’est un pont pour voiture qui a été construit pour desengorger le pont Cavenagh. Actuellement c’est une connexion directe entre le quartier des affaires et l’hôtel de ville. Il se situe à côté de l’hôtel Fullerton et du Merlion Park.

The Singapore Art Museum (SAM)

Opened in January 1996 in the former Saint Joseph’s Institution building, a catholic boy school until 1987 (71 Bras Basah Road), first of a series of national museums developed by National Heritage Board. The SAM owns the largest public collection of over 7,500 20th century Singapore and Southeast Asian artworks in the world

Ouvert en janvier 1996 dans le bâtiment d’une ancienne école pour garçons catholique, St Joseph. Le musée d’Art de Singapour abrite la plus grande collection officielle d’œuvres d’art moderne (XXème siècle) de Singapour et du Sud-Est asiatique.
