Located within the Esplanade Park, near City Hall, the Cenotaph was originally built to honour the 124 Singaporean men (British soldiers born or resident in Singapore) who sacrificed their lives during World War I. Designed by Denis Santry and unveiled on 1922, 31 March.
Le Cenotaphe de Singapour inauguré en 1922 à la mémoire des 124 soldats singapouriens morts au combat pendant la Première Guerre Mondiale.

Video : Sultan Mosque, Singapore

Video : Masjid Sultan, named for Sultan Hussein Shah, the largest mosque (for 5000 worshippers) located at Muscat Street and North Bridge Road, near Bussorah Mall, in Singapore originally built in 1825, replaced by golden-dome building 100 years later, designed by Denis Santry.
Plus grande mosquée de Singapour qui peut accueillir 5000 fidèles, construite vers 1924-1925 à l’emplacement d’une ancienne mosquée. Le dôme d’or représente Mahomet, et les quatre minarets ses 4 successeurs.
